Would you like to improve your business relationships and impact in a multi-cultural workplace? Are you seeing productivity losses due to cultural misunderstandings? Do you believe your multi-cultural team could perform better and do more if everyone were aligned ?
If you're in a position where you're working across cultures, you'll benefit from this presentation by Rochelle Kopp.
Rochelle is a leading expert on cross-cultural communication and effective management practices that help professionals at all levels lead in complex workplace situations in Japan and globally. No matter what your background is, if you're working here in Japan and dealing with one or more different cultures than the one you are rooted in, you'll learn useful ways of getting things done with less stress, more teamwork, and clear mutual understanding.
Rochelle will share with you what she's learned in almost three decades of studying what works and what doesn't. She'll cover key issues such as:
-
How cultures differ in communication and collaboration styles
-
Transferring awareness of culture issues into effective action
-
How to smoothly "manage up" across cultures
-
And more ...
There will be lots of small group discussions where you can share your experiences with others with various perspectives.
